We’re looking for volunteers.

The responsibilities of each volunteer depend on the particular interest of the individual, but can include:

  • assisting with groups for children with selective mutism (SM)
  • acting as a confederate for individual and group treatment for SM, social anxiety and/or phobias.

Volunteers can also assist with camps and field trips for SM. Volunteers may additionally gain experience and training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and assist in PCIT sessions for children with ADHD and behavioral difficulties. Volunteers also can be trained in the scoring of clinical assessment measures and gain exposure to evidence-based practices for students and adolescents.

This is an in-person commitment in at our office, located in Chatham, NJ. The number of days and hours are flexible depending on the availability of the volunteer. Supervision and mentorship will be provided by a licensed clinical psychologist.
