Rani Steinberg, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who joins Caring Cove with over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. She received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and her graduate degree from New York University. Ms. Steinberg is trained in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She enjoys working with adolescents and adults focusing on adjustment and life transitions. Ms. Steinberg also specializes in college counseling and planning to maximize post-secondary success. In addition to private practice, she is currently the Lead Social Worker at the Metropolitan Regional Diagnostic and Treatment Center (RDTC) at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) in Newark, New Jersey. Ms. Steinberg has been employed by RDTC’s, both at NBIMC and Hackensack University Medical Center for over 25 years, providing treatment and evaluations for child abuse victims and their families. Ms. Steinberg is a core member of two Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) in Essex County and provides expert testimony for child abuse victims. Ms. Steinberg works with her clients in a collaborative, strength-based modality to encourage and provide optimal support for growth and achievement.
