Dr. DeDilectis is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey, specializing in the treatment of children with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, behavioral difficulties, relational problems, social skill deficits, and trauma. She utilizes evidenced-based techniques and treatments and provides a warm, accepting, and collaborative atmosphere to elicit the best outcomes for youth and families. She focuses on using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), depending on the needs and fit to the child and family. In addition, she is currently undergoing the certification process for Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) under the supervision of Drs. Anderson and Ferriola.

In addition to Dr. DeDilectis’ work at Caring Cove, she has extensive experience providing court-ordered forensic psychological evaluations for juveniles involved in the criminal justice system, as well as forensic psychosocial evaluations for youth who have disclosed child maltreatment. During her doctoral training, Dr. DeDilectis received hands-on experience providing Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), the Integrated Treatment of Complex Trauma for Adolescents (ITCT-A), play therapy techniques, autism assessments, and psychoeducational assessments. Furthermore, Dr. DeDilectis held a credentialed alcoholism and substance use counselor- trainee (CASAC-T) in New York until July 2024 and has significant experience providing group and individual counseling for youth and families impacted by substance use.

Dr. DeDilectis obtained her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from William Paterson University and holds a master’s degree in child and adolescent clinical psychology from Montclair State University. In her spare time, Dr. DeDilectis loves to spend time with her husband, daughter and dog, reading, listening to podcasts, and kickboxing!
