Ashley Pires, MSW, LSW, is a licensed social worker in New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree at Montclair State University and her graduate Degree from Rutgers University, where she focused her studies on clinical social work and obtained a certificate in child and adolescent well-being.  Ms. Pires is skilled in providing evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety, depression and trauma histories.  She is committed to meeting the individual needs of children and helping them thrive.  Ms. Pires is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Game-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT). In addition to doing private practice work at Caring Cove, she is a clinician at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) in Newark, New Jersey, where she conducts psychosocial assessments and provides treatment to child abuse victims. Ms. Pires also has five years of experience working as a family advocate at Wynona’s House Child Advocacy Center, in Newark, New Jersey, where she provided support and resources to child abuse victims throughout Essex County.
