Ashley Pires, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. She earned her undergraduate degree from Montclair State University and her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University, where she specialized in clinical social work and earned a certificate in Child and Adolescent Well-Being.
Ms. Pires has extensive experience providing evidence-based treatment to children and adolescents coping with anxiety, behavioral challenges, and trauma. She is dedicated to addressing each child’s unique needs and fostering resilience, growth, and overall well-being.
Ms. Pires is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and has advanced training in a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Game-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT). In addition, Ms. Pires is skilled in conducting psychosocial evaluations for youth who have disclosed traumatic experiences of abuse and/or neglect.
Outside of her clinical work, Ms. Pires enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active at the gym, and going on walks with her dog.
