Ashley Pires, MSW, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree at Montclair State University and her graduate Degree from Rutgers University, where she focused her studies on clinical social work and obtained a certificate in child and adolescent well-being. Ms. Pires is skilled in providing evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety, depression, and trauma histories. She is committed to meeting children’s individual needs and helping them thrive.
Ms. Pires is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Game-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT). She formerly practiced at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center (NBIMC) in Newark, New Jersey, conducting psychosocial assessments and providing treatment to child abuse victims. Ms. Pires also has five years of experience working as a family advocate at Wynona’s House Child Advocacy Center in Newark, New Jersey, where she provided support and resources to child abuse victims throughout Essex County.
